Yamaha XP125SD XRW 2-Zone 12" Electronic Tcs Snare Pad With Real Wood Shell

The Yamaha XP125SD-X Two-Zone 12" TCS Electronic Snare Drum Pad with Wood Shell is an electronic snare drum designed for Yamaha's DTX series electronic drum kits. The pad features a birch-wrapped shell with a black forest finish that provides to look of a real acoustic drum.

This model offers a textured cellular silicone (TCS) head that offers a natural-feeling response and realistic stick rebound for enhanced playability while still allowing for quiet practice sessions. The TCS surface is engineered to incorporate a precise number of perfectly formed air bubbles to accurately simulate the tactile feel of a traditional coated drum head.

The pad offers a two-zone response, allowing a player to trigger two different sounds from the drum module (available separately) using the head and rim of the snare for added musicality. Two 1/4" connection cables are supplied for connection to a drum module, the second cable is a back-up cable and not needed for connection.
